The beach in front of Coast Cottages is the widest and best stretch of beach on the island. At low
tide the beach joins the sandbars and you can walk straight out to sea for ½ mile! The morning
sunrises are spectacular … bring a camera. The waves are small which is why skim boarding is
popular here. Shell collecting varies with the season, but early risers get the best selection.

If you like bike riding, you will LOVE St. Simons Island. We have bike/walking trails along all the
important roads. You can rent bikes and travel almost anywhere on the island. Here is a
